Baltic Sea

Description

The Baltic Sea is part of the Atlantic Ocean, but is connected to that body's North Sea only through the Øresund, the Great and Little Belts, the Skagerrak and the Kattegat. Its chief arms are the Gulf of Finland between Finland1 and Rossiya2, and the Gulf of Bothnia between Sverige3 and Finland. The main body separates Finland from the south end of Sverige, and Sverige from Deutschland4 and Polska5, and reaches a depth of 463 meters.
