The Korea Strait Western Channel1 is major shipping route lies between the Japanese island of Tsushima and the southeastern end of the Korean Peninsula. There is no draft limit for ships--it is 62 meters deep--and its length is 26 nautical miles. It is part of the Pacific Ocean.
