How is the land laid out?

This sector of Antarctica is typical of Greater Antarctica's geomorphology: 1) A high ice-covered plateau dominates, fringed coastward by 2) hills, interrupted by glacial flows, which are usually, but not always, attached to the shore; and 3) sea ice, which varies in extend and packing with the seasons.
