Morelia

Morelia, renamed for the independence hero who was born here, is the capital of Michoacán State, México. Located in the central plateau is has more than 600 thousand residents.¹ Its historic center, with pink stone buildings, is honored as a World Heritage Site. The most prominent of the old buildings is the 18th century cathedral. The tallest modern building the 15 story Tower C of the Altozano Towers residential complex.²
