कालका (Kālkā) is a city of 34 thousand1 in the Himalayan foothills in the northeast of the State of हरियाणा (Hariyāna)2 in भारत (Bhārat).3 It is the southern terminus of the railroad to शिमला (Shīmlā).4 The railroad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
