Halifax Regional Municipality

Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia Province, Canada, comprises the east center of the southeast coast of the Nova Scotia Peninsula (excepting some ethnic enclaves). The city's metropolitan population is 398 thousand, with 301 thousand of those within the municipal limits.1

The city is an important grain port.2

The tallest building is the Fenwick Tower, a 32 story student residential tower (1971).3
