Gulfport-Biloxi-Pascagoula

Gulfport-Biloxi-Pascagoula is a tri-city metropolitan area along the Mississippi Sound, a part of the Gulf of Mexico that is behind barrier islands. The combined population is 380 thousand.1 Gulfport and Biloxi have naval facilities and casinos, Biloxi has sports fishing, and Pascagoula has shipbuilding and an oil refinery. The tallest building is 32 story Beau Rivage Casino Hotel in Biloxi, which floats on a semi-anchored, semi-submersible barge structure in order to comply with gambling restrictions.2
