Campo Grande

Campo Grande is a city of 846 thousand1 in the basin of the Anhanduí River2 in central Mato Grosso do Sul (Southern Mato Grosso) state, in the Center-West Region of Brasil (Brazil). Since its state was split from Mato Grosso in 1977, it has been the capital. The tallest building is the 32 story Bahamas Apart Hotel (394 feet).3 It is served by one of Brasil's busiest airports.4
