Israeli, Lebanese, Jordanian and Palestinian Cities
Bāyrut, the capital of Lubnān (Lebanon), and Tel Aviv-Yafo, the largest city in Yisra'el (Israel), are both ports, while 'Ammān, the capital of al-Urdun (Jordan), sits on the ancient trade route between Egypt and Mesopotamia. Yerusalayim contains the holiest site for Judaism, the second holiest site for Moslims and a set of holy sites for Christians.
