Ялта (Yalta) has just over 75 thousand residents.1 It is located near the southern tip of the Krym (Crimea), below the shelter of the peninsular mountains. It is a tourist destination, and was an elite resort in the 19th and 20th centuries. The tallest building is the 16 story Yalta-Intourist.2
