Wüuzburg

Wüuzburg, Deutschland,1 is located on the Main River in lower Franken (Franconia). The city has over 130 thousand residents.2 Its tallest building is the Neubaukirche (91 meters),3 which serves as a university. Its most famous building is the Residenz (Residence), an 18th century palace designed by the archtects, Lukas von de Hildebrandt, Robert de Cotte, Germain Boffrand and Balthasar Neumann, with frescos by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo; it is a World Heritage Site.4 Other notable structures include the Saint Killian Cathedral-church, the town hall, the Käpelle (also architected by Neumann), the Marienberg Festrung (Fortress), the Falkenhaus and the 18th century, the Old Main Bridge.
