Wellington

Wellington is located at the southwest of New Zealand's North Island, by Cook Strait and Porirua Harbor, centered on a peninsula. Its urban area has 394 thousand residents, with 201 thousand under its city council.1 It is served by Wellington International Airport, one of the nation's busiest.2 The tallest building is the commercial Majestic Center (1991, 29 stories, 381 feet).3
