Strasbourg

Strasbourg is a city of 264 thousand1 located along the Rhin (Rhein or Rhine) River in the Bas-Rhin Department of the Alsace Region in France. The Grand Île is a UNESCO World Heritage Site honoring buildings such as the cathedral, four old churches, the Palais Rohan and the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall).2 The cathedral was the world's tallest structure for a few years in the 16th century and then again when its rival's spire collapsed.3
