Strasbourg

Strasbourg is a city of 264 thousand¹ located along the Rhin (Rhein or Rhine) River in the Bas-Rhin Department of the Alsace Region in France. The Grand Île is a UNESCO World Heritage Site honoring buildings such as the cathedral, four old churches, the Palais Rohan and the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall).² The cathedral was the world's tallest structure for a few years in the 16th century and then again when its rival's spire collapsed.³
