Tian(1) Mountains(2) with Sinkiang Province

The Tian Mountains within Sinkiang Province have parallel ranges with river valleys between; the Kaidu(3) is the important one in this area. It flows through the grasslands of the Yanqi(4) Basin to Bosten(5) Lake. The lake used to be fresh but human activities have turned it salty. The Tian's tallest peak is Pobedy at over 7000 meters.
