Regensburg

Regensburg (Ratisbon) is located in southeast Deutschland (Germany) just east of the northernmost bend of the Donau (Danube) River. Several buildings are part of a World Heritage Site. The cathedral (dom) was started in 1275 and the 105 meter-tall towers completed in 1869. There is a 12th century "Old Bridge" and a 50 meter-tall similarly-old patrician's house: the Goldener Turm. Today's city has over 130 thousand people.1
