Quedlinburg, Deutschland,1 is located in Sachsen-Anhalt beyond the Harz Mountains and southwest of Magdeburg. The city has 21 thousand residents.2 Its tallest building is the Nikolai Church (72 meters).3 Its tenth century Old Town and its 12th century New Town contain many old buildings. In the Westendorf District is the Collegiate Church of St. Sevatius, St. Wilpert's Church and the Münzenberg (a hill on which a Benedictine Monastery was founded in the 9th century). Together with the castle these comprise a World Heritage Site.4
