Port-Gentil

Port-Gentil, is located on Cape Lopez, which is within the delta of the Ogooué River. It is thus on an island, and although a major oil port,¹ it has no bridges or tunnels to the mainland of Gabon.² It had a population in 2006 of 112 thousand.³
