Poitiers

Poitiers, with 83 thousand residents,1 is located along the Clain River,2 in the Vienne Department of the Poitou-Charentes Region of France. The Saint-Hilaire-le-Grand church is a way stop for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, and as such is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tallest modern structure is the Poitiers Radio tower (197 feet) and the tallest modern buildings are a quadruplet of residential towers.3
