Périgueux, with 30 thousand residents,1 is located along the Isle River2 in the Dordogne Department of the Acquitaine Region of France. The Saint-Front cathedral is a way stop for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, and as such is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
