Oshogbo is the capital of Osun state, Nigeria, and has a metropolitan population approaching two million.1 Outside the city limits is the Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A notable building is the Oshogbo Township Stadium. Most residents speak Yoruba2 and most are probably Christians.
