Orléans

Orléans is a city of 113 thousand1 located along the Loire River and capital of both the Loiret Department and of the Centre Region in France. It is within the UNESCO World Heritage Site covering a stretch of the Loire Valley, its agricultural and culture. The valley is also a tourist attraction.2 The tallest building is the cathedral of Sainte-Croix (374 feet high, built from 1287 to 1511 and reconstructed after the Huegeonts destroyed it in 1568).3
