Several North American cities that had at least 4.0 million residents were not mapped. All of them started with fewer than 2.0 million residents in 1900 and ended between 4.0 and 9.999 million metropolitan residents. They are: Dallas (in Texas), Toronto (in southern Ontario), Houston (in Texas), Detroit-Windsor (bi-national but centered in Michigan), Miami (in Florida), Atlanta (in Georgia), Seattle (in Washington) and Guatemala (in the nation of the same name). (Southern Ontario is mapped for other periods--just not this one.) Texas, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, Washington state and Guatemala are not mapped for any period.)
