Lugo

Lugo, a city of nearly 99 thousand,1 with a metropolitan population of over 106 thousand,2 is located on a hill above the left (east) bank of the Miño (Minho) River, in its eponymous province, in Galicia Autonomous Community, España (Spain). Its Roman walls, which surround the city completely, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tallest modern building is the Rio Ladra I (134 feet, 1991).3
