Łódź

Łódź is located west southwest of Warszawa (Warsaw) in its own province (Łódźkie) in Polska (Poland). It has a metropolitan population of 1.164 million,1 with 754 thousand in the city proper.2 It was of mixed ethnicity (Polish and German Christians, and Jews) when it gained industrial status, but the terrible 20th century left it with only Polish Christians. The tallest building is a 23 story residential tower: Pilsudskiego 7.3
