La Teste-de-Buch

La Teste-de-Buch, with 23 thousand residents,1 sits on the south shore of the Archachon Basin in the Gironde Department of the Acquitaine Region of France. Europe's largest sand dune, the Dune du Pilat (or Pyla), is the local tourist attraction.2
