Kutná Hora

Kutná Hora is a city of 29 thousand residents1 located about 60 kilometers east of Praha (Prague) in the Česká Republic, and was a royal residence and medieval silver mining town. Its old buildings, along with the nearby Cathedral of Our Lady at Sedlec, constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Church of St. Barbara has interior fresoces of secular medieval life. Other structures include the Church of St. James, the Stone House and a Gothic fountain.2
