Indore is the largest city in Madhya Pradesh(1), India(2), with 1.9 million people (2007). It is located just south of the Vindhya Range. Among its monuments are the seven-storey Rajwada, or Old Palace, the Kanch Mandir, or Hall of Mirrors, which is a Jain temple with reflective interiors, and the Bada Ganapati temple, which boasts the world's largest idol of Ganesh.
