Compiègne

Compiègne is a city of 40 thousand¹ located along the Oise River,² just downstream from where the Aisne contributes its waters, in the Oise Department in the Picardie (Picardy) Region of France. The parochial church of Saint-Jacques is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site for Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France.³
