Чернігів (Chernihiv)

Чернігів (Chernihiv)¹ has just under 300 thousand residents,² and is located between the Desna River³ and its tributary the Snov in northern Україна (Ukrayina or the Ukraine). It is famed for its old religious buildings such as the 11th century Church of the Savior and the Eletsky Monastery cathedral, built in the medieval period with Baroque towers added later.
