Châlons-en-Champagne

Châlons-en-Champagne is a city of 47 thousand¹ located along the Marne River,² and capital of both the Marne Department and the Champagne-Ardenne Region in France. The church Notre-Dame-en-Vaux is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site honoring pilgrimage routes of Santiago de Compostela.³ The tallest modern building is the Tour (tower) d'Orléans (157 feet).⁴
