Châlons-en-Champagne

Châlons-en-Champagne is a city of 47 thousand1 located along the Marne River,2 and capital of both the Marne Department and the Champagne-Ardenne Region in France. The church Notre-Dame-en-Vaux is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site honoring pilgrimage routes of Santiago de Compostela.3 The tallest modern building is the Tour (tower) d'Orléans (157 feet).4
