Calais

Calais, with 74 thousand residents,1 is along the coast of the Pas de Calais (Strait of Dover), in Pas de Calais Department, Nord-Pas de Calais (North-Strait of Dover) Region, France. The 20th century Hôtel de Ville (city hall) is the tallest local building2 and its belfry is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site honoring belfries of France and België/ Belgique (Belgium).
