Boulogne-sur-Mer, with 43 thousand residents,1 is located along the Côte d'Opale (Opal Coast)2 in Pas de Calais (Strait of Dover) Department, Nord-Pas de Calais (North-Strait of Dover) Region, France. The belfry of the city hall is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site honoring belfries of France and België/ Belgique (Belgium). The tallest building is the 19th century Basilique (Basilica) Notre-Dame.3
