Biella

Biella is a city of 45 thousand¹ centered in the foothills of the Alpi² in its eponymous province in the Piemonte (locally called the Piemont)³ Region of Italia.⁴ In its frazione of Oropa is one of several Italian Alpine places where there are late 16th and 17th century chapels intended for use by Christian pilgrims who could not travel to what is now ישראל (Yisra'el or Israel); together these constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site.⁵
