Angers

Angers is a city of 148 thousand1 located along the Maine River,2 in the Maine-et-Loire Department of the Pays de la Loire Region of France. It is within the UNESCO World Heritage Site covering a stretch of the Loire Valley, its agricultural and culture, including châteaux such as the one here. The valley is also a tourist attraction.3 The tallest building is for public housing: the Chaptal Tour (tower, 14 stories, 1962).4
