Amiens

Amiens is a city of 133 thousand¹ located along the Somme River and capital of the Somme Department in the Picardie (Picardy) Region of France. The Notre-Dame cathedral is double honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, once in iself and again as part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France.² The cathedral (13th to 16th century) is the city's tallest building (370 feet), with a height under the vault of the nave of more than 42 meters. The tallest modern building is the Tour (tower) Perret (361 feet, 1952).³
