Albi

Albi, with 46 thousand residents,1 is located along the Tarn River2 in the Tarn Department of the Midi-Pyrénées Region of France. UNESCO honors the 'episcopal city' as a World Heritage Site, drawing attention to the Sainte-Cécile fortified cathedral, the Palais (palace) de la Berbie,3 the old bridge and the quarters near these sights.4 The tallest structure is probably a chimney of a coal plant.5
