Agde

Agde, with 25 thousand residents,¹ is located on the river Hérault near to the eastern terminus of the Canal du Midi, in the Hérault Department of the Languedoc-Rousillon Region of France. UNESCO honors the canal, here and elsewhere, as a World Heritage Site.
