대전 (Taejŏn)

대전 (Taejŏn, also transliterated as Daejeon), is a city with a metropolitan population of 2.149 million1 located in a basin in just west of the center of 대한 (Daehan or South Korea) amongst tributaries of the Kŭm (Geum) River. The city itself has a population of 1.519 million.2

The tallest buildings in early 2016 are a set of eight residential buildings completed in 2008, the Kumgang Exilu towers (558 feet, 50 stories).3
